The infighting has intensified again after the Balianta police detained four persons, including a Zilla Parishad Member of zone-11.
According to the information, the members of a particular group opposed the MLA and shouted slogans against Dhali near Balakati Medical Chhak. They also alleged that no developmental works were carried out during his tenure.
The MLA never visited his constituency after winning the election, they alleged further.
“I was the MLA of the Jaydev constituency in 2009. As I had worked for the people for the constituency, I was given the party ticket in the 2019 general election and I won the election with the support of the people,” said Dhali.
He further said, “People have faith in me and I am working for them. And some anti-social elements and intolerant groups are opposing me.”
He dared them to prove that they are BJD workers by joining him in expediting developmental works going on in the constituency.
