The money sanctioned from the CSR fund of the coal producing company will be spent on the construction of Natya Mandapa and Jagyan Mandapa at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.64 crores.
After approval for the grant of the fund for the Hingula temple under MCL CSR project, Pradhan thanked Joshi as well as Joshi for his initiative and claimed the same will increase tourist footfalls to Gopalprasad. It will also develop facilities for tourists at the temple, he added.
Notably, Pradhan in his letter to Joshi written on January 13 had urged financial assistance for the development of the shrine.
After approval of the grant of the fund for the temple, the Union Mines minister also conveyed to Pradhan about the same and hoped that it will be proved beneficials for the local people as well as the tourists.
