After taking the charge, Pradhan said that he will be committed to strengthen skilling efforts, equipping youth with necessary skills to prepare them for ‘Future of Work’ and creating linkages between skilling and employment.

52-year-old Pradhan also took charge of the Ministry of Education earlier in the day.
Previously, Pradhan was the Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel.
The Petroleum Ministry is now headed by Hardeep Singh Puri while Steel Ministry has been allotted to Ramchandra Prasad Singh.
