Bhubaneswar, Sep 29: A special vigilance court on Thursday sentenced Congress MLA from Cuttack-Barabati constituency, Mohammed Moquim to three years in jail in connection with Odisha Rural Housing & Development Corporation (ORHDC) corruption case.
The court also found former Managing Director of ORHDC Binod Kumar, Metro Builders Director Piyush Mohanty and Company Secretary Swosti Ranjan Mohanty guilty and pronounced a 3-year jail term to each.
Besides, the court ordered all four convicts to pay fine of Rs 50,000 each.
