Registration for inoculation of the group had begun on January 1.
According to information, a total of 939 special vaccination centres have been set up in Odisha for the children’s vaccination. As many as 250 vaccines will be given at each centre. While 200 vaccines will be given to online-registered children, 50 will be given through on-the-spot registration to be done at centres.
The children born on and before January 1, 2007, are eligible to take the COVID-19 vaccine doses. They will be administered Covaxin and it has been targeted that they all will be administered the first dose in a month.
Vaccination centres opened at 8 am in the State.
Children will be given the second dose anytime between 18 to 40 days after the first dose.
