Defying the directive of the Orissa High Court, Anubhav took to twitter route late last night and asked his estranged wife to clarify if the audio clip, which has gone viral, contains the conversation between her and her sister or not.
The actor turned politician however said that he has no intentions to hurt or tarnish his wife’s image but he was asking such question “only after being harassed and humiliated several times”.
The BJD MP from Kendrapara further said that the tweet is supposed to be friendly and he means no offence by it.
“Hello @VarshaPriyadar3, I’m being QUESTIONED by millions! Mostly by our film & political fraternities! Every single common man/woman wants a concrete assurance from ‘YOU’ that whether the voices in this audio clip are yours & your sisters’ or not! YES/NO!?,” Anubhav tweeted sharing the alleged audio clip.
“I have no intentions to hurt or tarnish your image. I respect you but I’m bound to tweet & ask you this question only after being harassed & humiliated several times by so many which is disturbing me, my entire family’s mental & physical health! FRIENDLY TWEET PLEASE. NO OFFENCE,” he added.

The couple had tied the knot in 2014 and has no children.
