Senior lawyer Dharanidhar Nayak moved the bail petition of Babushaan.
Actor Babushaan landed in trouble after his wife Trupti found him with actress Prakruti Mishra in a car in Satya Nagar area of Bhubaneswar on 23rd July. Trupti allegedly manhandled Prakruti alleging that she is the reason behind disturbances in her marriage life.
Hours after the incident, both sides lodged complaint at Kharavela Nagar police station in the State Capital.
Trupti’s case was lodged under Sections 498A (husband or his relative subjecting her to cruelty) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
On the other hand, an FIR was lodged based on a police complaint filed by Prakruti Mishra's mother under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation) and two others.
