According to information provided by the Health and Family Welfare Department, 867 of 2,436 ICU beds, available at both Government and private hospitals, were occupied by Covid patients by Saturday. Similarly, 18.03% of Ventilators were occupied by patients. While Government and private hospitals have 804 beds together, 145 have been occupied by serious patients.
Out of total 9,912 general beds, 2,198 were occupied by April 24. This means, only 22.18% general beds have been occupied and the rest 78.82% beds are vacant. Out of total 20,407 CCC beds with oxygen available, only 3% (697) were occupied by April 24.
