Bargarh, July 10: In a terrifying incident, a youth was reportedly hacked to death by a group of co-villagers at Mandosil village under Paikamal police station limits in Barghar district's Padmapur sub-division last night.

The deceased was identified as Pink Sahu.

According to the information, Pinku was going by motorcycle to the nearby village Bhutmunda when some bike-borne youths approached him and argued with him over an issue. Then, they attacked him with a lethal weapon. He reportedly died on the spot.

On being informed by villagers, Paikamal police went to the spot and seized the body.
