Kandhamal, Feb 26: In a horrific incident, a man died allegedly after being hard-punched by his wife during a spat between them at Mardipanka village in Siangbali gram panchayat under the Daringbadi police station limits in Kandhamal district last night. 

The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Netra Majhi.

According to the information, Netra Majhi and his wife Shubhanti Majhi (60) had a heated argument over some issues, Subhanti Majhi got furious and punched Netra Majhi on a very sensitive part of his body, following which he died. 

On being informed, Daringbadi police reached the spot and seized the body. After sending the body for postmortem, the police have started an investigation.
