Bengaluru, Mar 29: Indians and their desi jugaad are match made in heaven. A woman's bizarre approach to securing her phone while riding a scooter in Bengaluru has turned heads online.
The incident has ignited discussions on responsible road behaviour and the dangers of distracted driving.

Posted on ‘X’ , the video captures the woman’s resourcefulness as she devised a ‘hands-free’ method using nothing but a scarf. By cleverly securing the phone to her head with the scarf, she ensured it stayed in place throughout her journey. It’s a bit like wrapping a polythene bag with a knot on top, except in this case, the protagonist is fashioning a makeshift hands-free device out of cloth—quite the spectacle indeed.

However, alongside the amusement, the video also raised valid concerns about the hazards of distracted driving.

An individual wrote, "My business partner did something similar with the mobile tucked in between his helmet & got pulled over by a cop in Kochi & fined ₹500!"

A second said, "There's absolutely no enforcement. Hence no fear!"

"I have seen people keeping mobile inside helmets. She overtook it. Her concentration definitely was towards that mobile shouldn't fall," posted a third.
