Bhubaneswar, Sept 2: The Mohan Majhi Govt is on action mood as the Vigilance under the first ever BJP Govt is making life terrible for Corrupted bureaucrats and officials in Odisha.
According to the data, Odisha Vigilance has conducted raids on 39 corrupt officials in last 80 days, said CM Majhi Monday at the ongoing Budget Session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly,
Disproportionate assets (DA) worth about Rs 50 crores have been seized from those officials.
Similarly, DA worth about Rs 115 crores have been seized in the last one year.
In a fresh update, Odisha Vigilance conducted raid on the properties of Dharanidhar Nayak, Deputy Director of Mines (DDM), Talcher.
Among the recoveries, "2 multi storeyed buildings, one 3-BHK flat worth approx Rs. 1.30 crore and 1 duplex at Bhubaneswar, 2 market complexes with 19 shops, 9 plots, cash over Rs. 9.83 lakhs, 1 four wheeler, etc unearthed so far during searches" on properties linked to Dharanidhar nayak, deputy director of mines (DDM), Talcher, Angul.
