Dharmendra Pradhan Holds Roadshow In Athmallik, Bats For ‘Double Engine’ Govt In Odisha

Angul,  April 24: Union Minister and BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Sambalpur, Dharmendra Pradhan held a massive road show at Athmallik in Odisha's Angul district on Wednesday as part of BJP's election campaign for the upcoming general elections.

Pradhan was accompanied by BJP candidate for Athamallik Assembly seat Sanjeeb Sahoo, sitting MLA Ramesh Sai and local leader Arjun Sahoo during the 1.5-kilometer-long roadshow.

A large number of people gathered to participate in the roadshow, which was organised from the Bus stand chhak to Binikei Shaktipeeth in Athmallik town.

Lustily cheered by crowds, the BJP leaders stood atop a decorated vehicle and appealed the voters to cast their votes to BJP candidate for the development in Odisha in general and the Athmallik assembly segment in particular .  

Seeking votes in favour of BJP candidates for both Lok Sabha and Assembly seats, Pradhan said,  the ‘double engine’ government in Odisha and Narendra Modi government at the centre will bring allround development in the region.

Odisha will be voting simultaneously for its 147-seat Assembly along with the elections for the 21 Lok Sabha seats.

The voting dates have been scheduled for May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1. Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency goes to the polls on May 25.
