Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Extends Greetings On International Women's Day

Bhubaneswar, Mar 8: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday extended his greetings to all the women on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

"May they (the women) continue to break barriers, challenge gender stereotypes, lead, shine and become trailblazers," Pradhan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Hearty greetings to all the women of the country on International Women's Day. Safety, convenience and empowerment of women is PM Narendra Modi's guarantee. In the last 10 years, the PM Modi government has created a strong foundation for women-led development. We are determined to ensure equal participation of women in building a new and developed India," he added.

International Women’s Day is being celebrated on March 8 every year. The Day is observed every year to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It is a day to raise awareness about gender equality and women's rights.

The theme for International Women's Day 2024 is "Invest in Women: Accelerating Progress".
