Deogarh, Nov 19: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has inaugurated multiple projects, including the Milk Cooling Centre in Dhobalipathar, in Deogarh Tuesday.
Speaking on this occasion, Union Minister Pradhan said that many development works will take place in the district. "Deogarh will see various development works in next 23 years," stated the Union Education Minister.
The cost of Milk Cooling Centre has reportedly been projected at Rs 4 crore and 12 lakhs. In addition to this said project, many development projects worth Rs 40 crore have been inaugurated in Deogarh.

Terming the Milk Cooling Centre as a "gift" for the people of Deogarh district, Dharmendra Pradhan said, "Now we can purchase 10,000 litres of milk from the farmers."
"The farmers will get their money through DTP. The government will purchase milk Rs 46.53 per litre," explained the Union Minister.
The Sambalpur Lok Sabha member said that milk societies will be created in every panchayats in the district. The purchased milk will be brought from the milk societies to the Milk Cooling Centre.

He also praised the Odisha government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, saying the government's decision to increase the number of Goshala (cowsheds) is a crucial and splendid move.
The Union Education Minister also heaped praise on the state government over its 'Godabarish Mishra Adarsh Prathamik Vidyalaya Yojana' (Godabarish Mishra Ideal Primary School Scheme).
"It was a wonderful scheme for the betterment of schools across the state," said Dharmendra Pradhan, adding: "With the scheme, the expenditure of mid-day meal has also been increased."
Notably, the Odisha government has recently announced that the expenditure on the midday meal for schoolchildren will be increased by one rupee per student, considering the rise in the prices of essential commodities.
The Union Minister also thanked the Odisha government as well as the Education Department for launching various schemes for the betterment of the state.
