Two Under Trial Prisoners Escape From Jail In Kalahandi

Kalahandi, Apr 7: Two under trial prisoners (UTPs) from Bhawanipatna jail in Kalahandi district of Odisha allegedly escaped from the prison, informed the jail authority today.

The under trial prisoners are identified as Sikendar Jal and Nilamani Bibhaar.

Today morning, while working in the garden both of the prisoners fled away from their. It is suspected that both under trial prisoners escaped from the jail after scaling the boundary wall of the jail. 

Both of the prisoners were in jail due to action against POSCO act.

In March, two under-trial prisoners, who were arrested on charges of murder, had reportedly escaped from Titilagarh sub-jail.     

As same instances are happening repeatedly in the district, now the question arises is the security system in state is safe or not.
