Rayagada, Sept 8: As many as five persons were injured as two cars collided head-on at Halua on National Highway 326 in Rayagada district this afternoon.

All the injured persons have been admitted to the Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital. 

According to the information, a car bearing registration number OR-07 Y 3900 was on its way from Berhampur to Koraput and another car bearing registration number OD-10F 4300 was on its way from Bandhugaon to Rayagda when they collided at Halua. 

Police and locals rescued all the injured and rushed them to the DHH.
