Khordha, Sept 21: Five persons were injured as a truck hit two cars at Godipada chhak on National Highway 16 under Jankia police station limits in Khordha district on Saturday afternoon.

According to information, 10 friends from Bhubaneswar were on the way to Chilika Lake parked their two cars on the roadside. At this time, a truck coming from the backside hit the cars one after another. As a result, five people were injured. 

The injured were rushed to a nearby medical. Three of them are found to be critically injured. 

The police have detained the truck driver and seized all the three vehicles.
