Tragic End To One-Sided Love; Youth Kills Married Woman In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Feb 29: In a brutal act, a youth killed a married woman in Bapuji Nagar under Capital police station in Bhubaneswar.

The deceased woman has been identified as Geetanjali Ranjit of Jaleswar in Balasore district.

According to the information, Geetanjali with her husband Kunjabihari were living in a rented house near Shishu Bhawan Chhack.

Last evening, Geetanjali went to her husband Kunjabihari's mobile shop in Bapuji Nagar from where she was returning home.

On the way, a youth riding a bike intercepted her. The youth, which believed to be gilted lover of her started making argument with her. Subsequently, the boy stabbed geetanjali and fled from the spot.

First, the woman was rushed to Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar. Later, she was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, where she succumbed to injuries

In this regard, the deceased woman's husband filed a complaint at the police station.

We are tracking the CCTV footage to nab the murderer as soon as possible, said police.
