Three Odisha MPs Take Oath As Ministers In Modi 3.0 Cabinet

Bhubaneswar, June 9: Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram and Ashwini Viashnaw from Odisha were inducted into the Narendra Modi 3.0 Cabinet today. 

President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to Pradhan, Oram and Vaishnaw at their turns. 

Pradhan won the election from the Sambalpur Parliamentary constituency and Oram from Sundargarh PC by huge margins of votes in the recently held election. Ashwini Vaishnaw is a Rajya Sabha Member from Odisha.  

Pradhan successfully served as Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister in Modi's first Cabinet and as Education Minister in Modi 2.0 Cabinet.  Oram was Tribal Affairs Minister in Modi's first Cabinet. Vaishnaw was the Railways Minister In the Modi 2.0 Cabinet. 

Though portfolios are yet to be distributed, Pradhan is expected to be given more important Ministry this time given his long experience and astounding performance. Oram and Ashwini Vaishnaw are likely to retain their earlier portfolios.
