Three Die Of Asphyxiation in Sambalpur Village

Sambalpur, Aug 24: In a shocking incident, three labourers were reportedly killed and another person was critically injured due to suffocation in the Jamankira area of Sambalpur district this morning. 

The mishap occurred at Pukuda village while the labourers dismantled the centering from the roof of an under-construction toilet.  

The workers got trapped in the toilet and suffered from severe asphyxiation. They were rescued in an unconscious state after the debris was cleared. They were rushed to the Sambalpur District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). While three of them were declared dead by doctors, one of them is undergoing treatment. 

The incident has spread a shock wave in the area.
