Temperature Likely To Rise In Odisha From Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Mar 10: Odisha is likely to experience a rise in temperature from tomorrow as the cyclonic circulation formed near south Odisha and nearby areas has weakened, and light rains and cloudy weather have disappeared. 

In the next 24 hours, the weather will be mainly dry in most of the districts of the state and some districts such as Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal and Kalahandi are expected to witness light rain.

Day temperature is expected to rise on February 11, 12 and 13. The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Paralakhemundi, Titilagarh, Bhawanipatna, Malkangiri, Bhubaneswar and Nayagar are likely to experience temperature above 40 degrees Celsius. 

Usually, State's coastal parts witness daytime temperature at 35 degrees Celsius and the interior region at 37 degrees Celsius in the first part of March. But, the temperature has now gone down by two degrees Celsius by the impact of light rain. Temperature will rise and cross 40 degrees Celsius from tomorrow. 

However, there will be a change in weather as light rain is expected the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak from March 14 to 17.
