Bhubaneswar, Mar 11: Odisha is likely to experience a rise in temperature from today as the cyclonic circulation formed near south Odisha and nearby areas has weakened, and light rains and cloudy weather have disappeared.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature is likely to rise by four to six degree Celcius. The weather will be mainly dry in most of the districts of the state and some districts such as Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal and Kalahandi are expected to witness light rain.
Day temperature is expected to rise on March 11, 12 and 13. The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Paralakhemundi, Titilagarh, Bhawanipatna, Malkangiri, Bhubaneswar and Nayagar are likely to experience temperature above 40 degrees Celsius.
However, there will be a change in weather as light rain is expected the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak from March 14 to 17.
