Sundargarh, Nov 7: In a tragic mishap, a man was killed and his wife sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a vehicle near Parijat Park in Sundarghar town this morning. 

According to the information, the couple was going by a motorcycle to drop their child in school. However, they were hit by a vehicle on the say. 

Tension ran high at the accident site as locals gathered inl arge numbers and blocked the road. The angry mob demanded action against the driver of the vehicle that fatally hit the couple and adequate compensation for the family. 

On being informed police reached the spot and started effort to placate the situation.
