Sundargarh: 2 Hockey Players Died In A Road Accident

Sundargarh, Sept 29: In a tragic incident, two hockey players died in a road accident near Chhattisgarh-Odisha border, Saturday evening.

The hockey players died after a truck, coming from opposite direction, hit their scooty. Both the players reportedly died on the spot.

The deceased hockey players, identified as Sachin Kindo (32) and Sumilal Toppo (30), were natives of Nimdihi village in Rampur GP under Talsara police station.

The incident took place near Kotebira in Odisha-Chhattisgar border. They were reportedly returning after playing a hockey tournament in Baluabahal, Chhattisgarh, when tragedy struck.
