Subhadra Yojana Form Submission Begins Today

Bhubaneswar, Sept 4: Submission of forms for the Subhadra Yojana begins Wednesday (September 4). The application forms are available for free of cost at the Anganwadi centers, block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras.

Eligible women beneficiaries will get their first instalment of Rs 5,000 on September 17 by PM Modi in Bhubaneswar.

Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will receive Rs 5,000 each in two instalments in a financial year and Rs 50,000 in five years. The money will be directly credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

A toll free number -- 14678 -- has been issued for the successful implementation of Subhadra Yojana in the state.

In a major initiative for women empowerment in Odisha, the State government announced Subhadra Yojana, which entitles a financial assistance of Rs 10,000 annually to over one crore women in the state for five years till 2028-29 fiscal.

The portal -- www.subhadra.odisha.gov.in -- will provide all the information about the flagship scheme.
