Students Should Study To Be Like Veer Surendra Sai: Union Minister Pradhan

Bargarh, Nov 20: Students should study to be like eminent freedom fighter like Veer Surendra Sai and build their character and personality like Hati Singh and Madho Singh. Then only, our country will become No.1 in the world in Amrut Kal. 

Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said this while attending the 21st annual function of 'Krishna Vikas Group of Institutions in Bargarh on Monday.    

Pradhan said the National Education Policy has been carved in the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. More than 20,000 students are studying in the Krishna Vikas Group Foundation. In this educational institution, children should study to develop their personalities like Veer Surendra Sai, Madho Singh, and Hati Singh. This will make our country the leader in the world.

The Union Minister said, "We should strive to make India great through quality education and vocational training. Children should have goals not only to become doctors, engineers, lawyers and big businessmen but also to do welfare work for society. "It is necessary to live for others, not for oneself. Let the Krishna Development Group of Institutions play an important role in realising this challenge of the National Education Policy," hoped Pradhan. 

He also hoped that schools run by the group would be an institution for making good people.

On this occasion, the Union Minister congratulated the students, teachers, the founders of Krishna Vikas Group of Institutions, the management committee and all those associated with it. He gave away prizes to talented students who achieved success in various competitions held in the school.

He also appreciated the cultural programs, yoga and adventure sports performed by the students during the ceremony.
