Srimandir To Be Shut For 4 Hours On Account Of Banak Lagi Niti

Puri, Mar 27: Darshan of Holy Trinity will remain restricted for devotees for four hours from 6 pm to 10 pm today for the Banaklagi ritual.  

"Banakalagi ritual will be conducted by Dattamahapatra servitors today i.e Wednesday," informed the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration. 

The important ritual will be conducted from 6 pm to 10 pm and Darshan of the deities will resume thereafter. 

Notably, on the day of Banaklagi Niti, the Darshan of the deities is stopped for about four hours in the evening hours. 

Banakalagi Niti, a secret ritual, is generally held on Wednesdays.
