Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: One can't be a responsible person without a spiritual way of life. Even he won't have sympathy in his mind for others, Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan contended this while attending the ground-breaking ceremony of Bhaktivedanta International Academy for Applied Spiritual Technology' of the ISKCON Youth Forum here today.

Pradhan said temples are built to maintain spiritual humbleness, peace and devotion between devotees and God in the society. Along with economic aspects, valuable messages of being self-respecting, self-reliant and responsible are also inherent in the temples. Established thousands of years ago, Puri Srimandir, Konark Sun Temple and Lord Lingaraja Temple teach many lessons to the society. Spirituality is closely related to education. If there is no spirituality in the acquisition of knowledge, then the wise man can be like a powerful Ravan.

When the mind is depressed, sad and grieving, ISKCON comes to mind. In this context, it is commendable to plan to maintain the mental health of the youth through yoga, meditation, Vedic education and spirituality in this spiritual center to be built by ISKCON at Barunei foothills. It will be very beneficial for the student body and the society.

Pradhan prayed to Lord Jagannath and Lord Krishna that the ISKCON Samaj continue to give messages to the human race through emotional and spiritual guidance.
