Cuttack, Mar 8: What can be said as a spiritual coincidence, metal idols of as many as 60 cobra snakes and stone idols of two bulls were recovered from Mahanadi on the Maha Shivaratri day today. 

Notbaly, cobras along with Linga are worshiped as Lord Shiva, while bulls are adorned as the lord's mount.  

The cobra idols, believed to be of brass, and two stone bulls were recovered by fishermen from under the Jatamundia High-Level Bridge near Banki Subarnapur in Cuttack district, much to the happiness of Shiva devotees as today is taken as perceived as one of the most sacred Hindu days.  The idols were caught in a fishing net. 
The fishermen have kept the idols in a nearby Shiva temple. They will be handed over to the Subarnapur outpost police soon. 
Though the source of the idols is yet to be traced, locals said that can be ascertained after an investigation, if conducted.
