Special Bus Service From Puri To Other Holy Shrines Soon: Minister

Bhubaneswar, Nov 7: The Odisha government has decided to run special buses from Puri to various pilgrim places like Ayodhaya, Tirupati, Brundaban and Mathura to help people visit religious shrines.  

State Transport Minister Bibhuri Bhushan Jena said the State government has already decided to this effect. 
The Minister said special Volvo buses have already been procured to initiate the Char Daham Bus services. Required permissions have already been gathered for the routes, he said.  

The bus service will begin from the New Year. Pilgrims and women passengers will travel at a reduced fare price.
"The  State government is mulling to help devotees travel to pilgrim sites," said the Minister. 

Jena said the State government is also mulling to run more vehicles to connect Bhubaneswar with cities of other States.
