Bhubaneswar, July 3: In a shocking incident, a man has allegedly killed his father by stabbing him with a knife in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

The Father-Son duo has been identified as Sunil Choudhury and Anirudha Choudhury. Son, Anirudha Choudhury work as a professor at a private university and Father, Sunil Choudhury, a retired NALCO official.

The incident has been reported from the Rangamatia area of Mancheswar police station in Bhubaneswar.

According to the reports, the accused allegedly stabbed his father with a knife to death following an altercation with his father. 
The exaxt reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. 

On being informed, Mancheswar police reached the spot with a scientific team and started an investigation into the incident. 

The accused has been detained by police. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
