Cuttack, Jan 22: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship,  Dharmendra Pradhan along with BJP workers and devotees offered prayers at Baba Balunkeswar Mahadev Temple Gopinathpur in Odisha's Cuttack district on Monday on the occasion of the Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha in Ayodhya.

The Union Minister along with hundreds of devotees participated in Special Pooja at the temple. He also watched the live proceedings of the Pran Pratistha ceremony on a big screen installed at the temple premises.

"At the premises of Baba Balunkeswar Mahadev Temple at Gopinathpur in Cuttack District, I along with our party workers and devotees had the privilege of witnessing the grand, divine consecration of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya by Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Pradhan wrote on X, formerly  known as Twitter.

"Today, from villages to Ayodhya, chants of Jai Shri Ram have awakened divine consciousness in the society. The whole country is celebrating the historic occasion. I wish, may our country become more prosperous with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram," he added.

The much-awaited Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ramlalla was held today in Ayodhya with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the rituals in the newly constructed magnificent temple. He also unveiled the Ram Lalla idol in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

People of the Hindu community across the globe celebrated the opening of Ram Temple in Ayodhya,  showcasing their unbridled enthusiasm and reverence for this historic occasion.
