Shocking! Ex-Odisha Minister Raghunandan Das Let His Dogs To Chase Woman Journalist In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, June 25: In a shocking incident, former Odisha Minister Raghunandan Das on Tuesday released his dogs to chase woman journalist of ArgusNews, Chinmayee Sahoo, during a media coverage of demolition work of a "luxurious" government quarters of an Ex-BJD MLA in Bhubaneswar.  

As per reports, the incident occurred this morning when the woman scribe and her team were covering the ongoing demolition activities at the "luxurious" official residence of former BJD MLA and the party’s organisational secretary Pranab Prakash Das, here.

Ex-Minister Raghunandan Das, who is a neighbour of Ex-MLA Pranab Prakash Das, along with his supporters let his dogs chase the woman journalist and allegedly attacked the video journalist.

The demolition activities were carried out at the government quarter alloted to former BJD MLA Pranab Prakash Das in the city.
According to sources, Pranab Prakash Das, also known as Bobby Das, was allotted the government quarter No- VIIIMR-1 at Unit 6 area in the State Capital after he was elected to State Legislative Assembly from Jajpur constituency in 2019.

Later, Bobby Das allegedly occupied three government quarters illegally and converted them into one. He allegedly constructed a four-storey building including an underground floor at his official residence worth crores of rupees.

In the 2024 general elections, Bobby Das lost the Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat to senior BJP leader and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

As Bobby Das has to vacate the government quarters, the demolition activity was initiated by the BJD organisational secretary, sources said.
