Shocking! Barrat Bus Mows Down Bridegroom's Father In Cuttack Village

Cuttack, July 10: In a heartwrenching incident, a man died after being mowed down by a vehicle engaged in his son's barrat at a village in Cuttack district this afternoon. 

The sorrowful incident occurred at Chatarapada village under Narasinghpur area in the district. 

The deceased has been identified as Bimbadhar Nayak (55). 

According to the information, the bus was moving slowly in the marriage procession when Bimbadhar fell and came under its wheels. Bimbadhar reportedly died on the spot. 

Tension ran high as villagers blocked the Narasinghpur-Angul main road, demanding compensation for the bereaved family.
