Schools To Prepare Own Class X Half-Yearly Examinations This Year

Cuttack, Sept 25: High Schools will prepare question papers for half-yearly examinations of Class X for the current 2024-25 academic session, according to the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. 

In an official communique, the BSE Secretary has asked all District Education Officers (BSEs) to take necessary steps to ensure that secondary schools prepare their question papers and conduct the half-yearly examinations within the scheduled time. 

During the 2023-24 session, the BSE supplied question papers and schools had taken the question papers from DEC points. 

"The question papers for Class X half-yearly examinations during 2023-24 had been prepared and supplied to District Education Point by BSE Odisha. However, the BSE is making it clear that the question papers for the current session shall not be supplied by the broad. All secondary schools are free to prepare their own question papers or make necessary arrangements for the conduct of the examinations within the time period as mentioned in the breakup of the syllabus notified by the board," read the letter.
