Samir Deys Mortal Remains Consigned To Flames

Cuttack, Nov 19: The mortal remains of senior BJP leader and former Odisha Minister Samir Day were consigned to flames at the Khannagar Crematorium ground in Cuttack city at 12.10 AM on Tuesday. 

Dey passed away yesterday. 

According to the information, Dey's daughter lit the funeral fire and performed the last rites. Before the funeral, a salute was given by Commissionerate Police in the presence of Cuttack DCP as part of the State Honour. 

State BJP President Manmohan Samal, Organization Minister Manas Mohanty, and many senior BJP leaders, and activists attended the funeral.
