Rozgar Mela: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Distributes 384 Appointment Letters In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Feb 12: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan distributed appointment letters to as many as 384 newly inducted recruits of Odisha during the 12 phase of Rozgar Mela held in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradhan congratulated the newly inducted recruits who have achieved success after hard work. "Your hard work will develop the country. I believe that you will fulfill this great responsibility properly," the Minister told the new recruits.

" Rozgar Mela under PM Narendra Modi government is an attempt to empower the youth and encourage their active engagement in the nation's progress. As per Prime Minister's vision of 'One India, Best India', let us strive hard to make India a developed country and to enhance our self esteem as well as human society," he added.

Stating that India has a strong economy due to the dynamic leadership of PM Modi, Pradhan said, “India has become the fifth largest economy in the world and is poised to become the third largest economy by another three years”.

Nowadays, skilling, re-skilling and up-skilling have become a routine programme. New technologies are evolving with time. The digital world is taking India forward, he said.

The fresh recruits will get postings in various Union Ministries/Departments viz. Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Higher Education, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Defence,  Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,  Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Railways.

It may be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi today distributed over 1 lakh appointment letters to newly inducted recruits via video conferencing.

Rozgar Mela is a step towards the fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation in the country.
