Puri, July 10: The 'Adapa Mandap Darshan' of the Holy Trinity -- Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra -- has begun here Wednesday at the Shree Gundicha Temple. The eagerness and enthusiasm of the pilgrims and devotees was on display as numerous people were waiting to have a glimpse of the deities and take blessings.

Devotees and pilgrims are entering Shree Gundicha Temple from Singha Dwara (Lion's Gate) after going through barricades. Nakachana Gate is serving as the exit door.

Besides the elaborate arrangements to ensure a safe and disciplined 'Darshan' for devotees, as many as 20 platoons of police have been deployed.

After the 'Mangala Alati Niti' of the deities, the 'Abakasha Tadapa Niti' will take place. 'Adapa Abadha' will be served to devotees Wednesday following the 'Mahaprasad' preparations after tiring three-day journey of the Holy Trinity.

'Banakalagi Niti' will take place in the evening as Lord Jagannath will dazzle with 'Shreemukha Sringara'.

Earlier Tuesday, at least five servitors injured after Lord Balabhadara reportedly slipped on the 'Charamala' during 'Adapa Mandap Bije' pahandi near Gundicha Temple.
