Bhubaneswar, Nov 26: Elections to six Rajya Sabha seats in four States, including one seat in Odisha, will be held on December 20, the Election Commission of India said on Tuesday. 

The ECI will issue a formal notification for the Rajya Sabha polls on December 3. 

The last date for filing nominations is December 10. Nominations will be scrutinized on December 11, and the last date for the withdrawal of candidature is December 13. Elections will be conducted on December 20.

Notably, a seat of Odisha in the Rajya Sabha has remained vacant since BJD member Sujit Kumar resigned from the Upper House of Parliament a month back. Election to the Rajya Sabha seat of Odisha will be conducted on December 20.
