Puri: Two Families Clash Over Land Dispute; Father-Son Duo Killed

Puri, Oct 31: In a shocking incident, a man and his son were killed during a clash between two families at Samagara village under the Penthakata Marine police station limits in the Puri Municipality area last night. 
The deceased have been identified as Rabi Swain and his son Prakash Swain. 

According to the information, Rabi Swain's family and a neighbouring family clashed over a land dispute last night. They attacked each other with lethal weapons. In the incident, Rabi and his son Prakash were critically injured. A member of the opposite family was also injured.  

All the injured persons were rushed to the Puri District Headquarters Hospital soon after the incident. However, Rabi and his son Prakash succumbed to the injuries. 

Police have detained two persons and are interrogating them in connection with the clash.
