Primary School Teacher Suspended For Indiscipline In Balangir

Balangir, Dec 27: An upper primary school teacher, Kamalakanta Bhoi, was suspended for failing to maintain discipline in the school. 

According to the information, he was often late to reach the school. Following an inquiry, Block Education Officer (BEO) Gobardhan Bhoi handed over a suspension letter to him today.  

Kamalakanta is a physically handicapped person. 

Villagers complained that, apart from coming to school late almost every day, Kamalakanta was also creating a nuisance in the school. On the direction of BEO, a two-member committee conducted an investigation and found the teacher 'negligent' and 'indisciplined'. 

Based on the report, the involved teacher was suspended.
