PM Modi To Visit Maharashtra, Rajasthan Tomorrow

New Delhi, Aug 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jalgaon in Maharashtra and Jodhpur in Rajasthan tomorrow, officials said on Saturday.

According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), PM Modi will participate in the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan in Jalgaon at around 11.15 AM on Sunday. He will give certificates and felicitate 11 lakh new Lakhpati Didis, who recently became Lakhpati during the third term of the NDA Government.

The Prime Minister will also interact with Lakhpati Didis from across the country.

PM Modi will release a revolving fund of two thousand five hundred crore rupees, which will benefit about 48 lakh members of self-help groups (SHGs). He will also disburse a bank loan of five thousand crore rupees, which will benefit around 26 lakh members of SHGs.

Since the inception of the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, one crore women have already been made Lakhpati Didis. The government has set a target to make three crore Lakhpati Didis, the PMO said.

In the evening, PM Modi will reach Jodhpur in Rajasthan. He will be the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate the Rajasthan High Court Museum, tomorrow.
