Orissa High Court Issues Directives For Upcoming Cuttack Bali Yatra

Cuttack, Nov 7: Orissa High Court has issued several directives Thursday for the upcoming Bali Yatra in Cuttack. The Bali Yatra will be held at the upper field of Mahanadi riverbanks, November 15-22.

The Orissa HC has issued multiple instructions for Jagmohan Meena, DCP, Cuttack. The city police will have the responsibility to take necessary steps to stop the noise pollution at the Bali Yatra. In addition, the police have been ordered to take necessary steps to avoid traffic jam. 

Special steps will be taken to manage the crowd. Cuttack Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde has informed the HC about the said information.

Two new roads will connect the upper and lower fields during the Bali Yatra.

HC has also ordered that there won't be any temporary shops from Mata Matha chowk to Biju Patnaik chowk and Cantonment Road to Chandi Chowk. The Orissa High Court has ordered to identify special place for temporary shops.

A green corridor will be created for ambulance services.
