One Minor Boy Dead, Two Critical In Scooty Accident in Kandhamal

Phulbani, Mar 3: In a tragic mishap, a minor boy was killed and two others sustained critical injuries after their scooty met with an accident at Hill View Ghati in Kandhamal district this evening.

The deceased was identified as Preetam Pradhan (17) of Sugankeda and the injured as Rimsam Pradhan and Badal Pradhan of Saringagripi village.

According to the information, Preetam along with the two others were coming from Daringibadi to Suganketa when their scooty lost control and skidded off the road at Hill View turning. As a result, three were severely injured.

Later, Preetam was declared dead at a the Daringibadi hospital. The two others have been shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur given their critical condition.

The Daringbadi police have started an investigation after registering a case.
