Odisha's Sanjukta Sethi Among 15 Nurses Conferred National Florence Nightingale Awards

Bhubaneswar/ New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday conferred the National Florence Nightingale Awards 2024 to 15 nursing professionals including Odisha's Sanjukta Sethi at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

Sethi has been posted as Nurse at the District Headquarters Hospital in Odisha’s Malkangiri for the last 30 years.

The National Florence Nightingale Award was instituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the year 1973.

This award is given as a mark of recognition for the meritorious services rendered by the nurses and nursing professionals to society.
