Bhubaneswar, Feb 24: The BJP Yuva Morcha on Saturday targeted the State Government and the ruling BJD over the alleged issue of the Matric exam question leak and demanded the resignation of School and Mass Education Minister Sudam Marndi.

The party also threatened to gherao his official residence here if he doesn't resign or is not ousted by the Chief Minister.

"Leak of Matric question paper has disturbed students. The School and Mass Education Minister has failed to ensure a fair exam for Class X students. No officer has conceded to the wrong yet. It indicates that a racket of question paper leak is being fun by the ruling BJD," alleged BJP Yuva Morcha State president Abhilash Panda.

The government took AI (Artificial Intelligence) and CCTV support for the smooth conduct of the exams. But has any step been taken to guard BJD leaders and people preparing question papers?

"The School and Mass Education Department is only a rubber stamp. 5T programme is meaningless," said Panda.

He expressed unhappiness saying that incidents of question paper leaks are happening every year.

"It is a conspiracy by the State government to keep Odia medium students in poor light," he alleged further.
