Bhubaneswar, Nov 5: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday the Food Supply and Consumer Welfare department to provide rice of three months’ quota in advance to the beneficiaries of public distribution system (PDS) across the state.
The direction was issued after the Chief Minister held a review meeting on the PDS in the State, at the Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.

The Chief Minister also asked the concerned officials to expedite the 'One Nation One Retion' system and E-KYC process for the migrant Odia people.
The State government has taken steps to include all workers registered as e-workers in the public distribution system. It has been decided to immediately include 1.31 lakh workers who are yet to be registered in e-Shramik in the food security scheme, CM Majhi said.
Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, chief secretary Manoj Ahuja, chief minister’s additional chief secretary Nikunja Behari Dhal were present in the meeting.
