Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: The Odisha Government on Monday effected a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre ahead of 2024 general elections. As many as 17 District Collectors have been transferred, officials said. 

According to the notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Temjenwapang Ao, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur is appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department.

Srikanta Prusty, Special Secretary to Government, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department is appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Northern Division), Sambalpur.

Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Ranjan Kumar Das has been transferred and appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central Division), Cuttack. He will also remain in additional charge of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur.

Puri Collector Samarth Verma has been appointed as Additional Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri. Secretary, State Election Commission, Bhubaneswar, Bijay Kumar Das will replace him as Puri collector.

The notification stated that the post of Additional Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.

Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare has been appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Mayurbhanj.

Khordha Collector Sudarshan Chakravarthy is appointed as Director of Minor Minerals, Bhubaneswar. The post of Director, Minor Minerals is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.

Mayurbhanj Collector Vineet Bharadwaj is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Cuttack.

Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner Nikhil Pavan Kalyan is appointed as Director, Rural Development. The post of Director, Rural Development is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.

Secretary of State Election Commission, Bijay Kumar Dash is appointed as Collector of Puri.

Bargarh Collector Monisha Banerjee is appointed as Director, Social Welfare. Bolangir Collector Chanchal Rana was transferred and became Collector and District Magistrate of Khurda.

Kendrapara Collector Amrit Ruturaiwas transferred as Labour Commissioner while Sambalpur Collector Ananya Das became Joint Secretary of Handloom Textiles & Handicrafts Department.

Malkangiri Collector Vishal Singh is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Keonjhar while Dr. Subhankar Mohapatra, Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) has been appointed as Jajpur Collector.

Keerthi Vasan, CDO-cum-EO Zilla Parishad’ Ganjam is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate, Koraput.

Suryawanshi Mayur Vikas, Additional Commissioner of BMC is appointed as Collector and District Magistrate of Kendrapara.

Berhampur Municipal Corporation Commission J. Sonal has been transferred as Collector & District Magistrate of Boudh.

Mayurbhanj ADM Agrawal Akshay Sunil has been shifted as Sambalpur Collector while Aditya Goval, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Bargarh is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Bargarh.

Anya Das, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Nabarangpur is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate, Sonepur.

Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla  Parishad, Sundargarh is appointed as Collector of Rayagada. Pawar Sachin Prakash, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Kalahandi is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Malkangiri.

Gaurav Shivaji Isalwar, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Koraput is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Bolangir.

Berhampur Sub-Collector Kulakarni Ashutosh with additional charge of Administrator, Jama Masjid, Berhampur is appointed as Commissioner of Rourkela Municipal Corporation. The post of Commissioner, Rourkela Municipal Corporation is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Deputy Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.

Kulakarni will also remain in additional charge of CEO, Rourkela Smart City Limited, ADN/, Rourkela and Secretary, Rourkela Development Authority.

Baliguda sub-collector Madhumita with additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Baliguda is appointed as Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation.

Kuchinda Sub-collector Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak is appointed as Additional District Magistrate of Mayurbhanj.

Dheenah Dastagar is appointed as Sub-Collector of Berhampur. Rina Pradhan is appointed as Sub-Collector of Baliguda in Kandhamal.

Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke is appointed as Sub-Collector of Balasore. Kirandeep Kaur Sahota iS appointed as sub-collector of Gunupur in Rayagada district.

Rehan Khatri is appointed as Sub-Collector of Titlagarh in Bolangir. Dhiman Chakma is appointed as Sub-collector of Dharamgarh in Kalahandi district.

Bimalendu Ray Collector & District Magistrate of Sonepur is transferred and posted as Director, EPM.

Boudh Collector Nrusingha Charan Swain has been posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Revenue & Disaster Management Department.

Cuttack Collector Narahari Sethy is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department.
