Odisha Government Enforces Speed Limit To Mo Buses

Bhubaneswar, Nov 6: In a major development, Odisha Government has enforced speed limits to Mo Buses.

Mo Buses have been involved in multiple accidents. There have been regular complaints against the Mo Bus drivers for reckless driving.

To stop their reckless driving and stop the accidents, the state government has put brakes on the buses' speed limits.

The Mo Buses will have a maximum speed of 40 kmph inside Bhubaneswar. The Mo Buses which travel outside Bhubaneswar, will have a speed limit of 50 kmph outside the city.

License will be checked on a regular basis. After checking of licenses, drivers will ride the buses. 

Checks will be carried out whether the driver has consumed alcohol or not. The alcohol test will be conducted on the drivers before riding the bus and after getting off the buses.
